John, better known as Quad by the SH community, couldn’t be more stoked to get back in the beautiful Hatteras water for his second Summer as a surf instructor. His summers growing up were spent in Virginia Beach, swimming, surfing, and sand-fiddling, and he has gotten to surf various surf spots on the coasts of Virginia, North Carolina, and Mexico, and cannot wait to surf some more this summer! This fall Quad will be attending UNCW (fly Seahawks fly) as a freshman to study Coastal Engineering and Spanish. SH has had a special place in his heart since he first came to the camp as a 12 year old, and he hopes to help make it as special a time as he had for all the campers coming this summer.
