Ila Byrd

Ila has grown up spending every summer of her life at Surf Hatteras—so by now she knows the ropes. She is the daughter of Ross and Hannah Byrd, and experienced surfer and surf instructor. It is her absolute joy to help the campers improve their surfing from any level, and to enjoy the beauty and adventures of the island and surfing!
