Hannah has spent her summers on Hatteras Island for most of her life. She and Ross founded Surf Hatteras together in their first year as a married couple and have directed the camp together for the last thirteen(!) years. Her passion for kids shows through in everything that she does. She loves being a mom, and in the off-season she spends most of her time taking care of her four little ones, growing her hand-made jewelry business, and volunteering in women’s ministry. A graduate of James Madison University, Hannah has worked as a snowboard instructor at Massanutten Ski Resort and also as an oceanfront lifeguard in Virginia Beach, where she placed in both local and regional lifeguard competitions. She loves to see each camper’s confidence increase over the course of the week.
