House Manager & Lead Surf Instructor
This is Cat’s third summer working at Surf Hatteras after being a camper for many summer weeks and some winter sessions over the years. She first learned to surf in Virginia Beach as a child but fell in love with the sport when her family lived in Tamarindo, Costa Rica in 2012. Since then, she has surfed many different waves but Hatteras sessions remain her favorite! She is from Richmond, Virginia, and graduated from the University of Virginia in 2023. She now lives in Nashville and is pursuing her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Vanderbilt University. Cat can’t wait to spend another summer sharing her passion with the Surf Hatteras Team!
